Madison + Vine Editor Sees Too Much Product Placements Today 

Co-host Brad Forsythe interviews Hank Kim, editor of Madison + VineHank Kim, senior editor at Advertising Age, has played a key role in the launch of the Madison+Vine initiative. As editor of M+V, Kim has been responsible for coordinating Ad Age’s editorial efforts in the print, interactive, and event platforms since August 2002. Prior to his current role, Kim was the features editor at Ad Age Global.  Kim’s editorial background includes staff roles at Adweek, Multichannel News, and Mediaweek.com. He has also contributed to such publications as The New York Times Sunday Magazine, Variety, Print, and Crain’s New York Business. He has also been a contributor to CNNfn, National Public Radio, and PBS’ “Nightly Business Report.” Prior to his career in marketing and media journalism, Kim started his professional life in ad agency account management at such New York shops as Bozell Inc., Backer Spielvogel Bates, and Ammirati & Puris.
